Each time we have visited Ocean City, Maryland we have driven past at least one of The Dough Roller restaurants. On our most recent trip to Ocean City we decided to give The Dough Roller a try.

The Dough Roller has 4 locations in Ocean City so it’s hard to miss seeing this restaurant. The atmosphere of these restaurants is very fitting for Ocean City, it has a casual and easy-going feel. It’s very family friendly with displays of old toys.

The Dough Rollers sign advertises Pizza and Pancakes so we decided to give the Pizza a try.

We ordered a medium pizza half Dough Roller Original (Sausage, sweet peppers, onion) and half Hawaiian (Canadian bacon, Pineapple).

We ordered a medium pizza half Dough Roller Original (Sausage, sweet peppers, onion) and half Hawaiian (Canadian bacon, Pineapple).

The pizza was average, the Hawaiian half didn’t have very much flavor, but with all the sweet peppers the Dough Roller Original had a lot more flavor. I would have preferred to get a Little Caesars Pizza, it would have tasted better and been a lot cheaper.

We also decided to order Spaghetti with "monstrous meatballs".

We also decided to order Spaghetti with “monstrous meatballs”. The garlic bread that came with the pasta was great. The Spaghetti and “monstrous meatballs” lacked a lot of flavor. My husband said the Spaghetti reminded him of elementary school lunch.

The Dough Roller is not a restaurant I plan on visiting again.

Have you tried the Dough Roller? What did you think?
