Are you looking for a fun new game to play? We love playing games, many of our nights both at home and on vacation are spent playing games. Here are some of our favorite games in no particular order.
Our Family’s Favorite Games
We have played Cover Your Assets close to a hundred times in the 3 months since we learned about this game. It’s tons of fun to play, the goal is to be the first millionaire. The game is simple to learn, and the game goes fast so it’s easy to play multiple rounds.
Dixit is a fun game we discovered last summer and we have since introduced it to many of our friends and family members. The game consists of cards with random pictures on them. The object of the game is to get people to guess which card is yours by using a clue. Our clues often relate to movies and music. Now that we have played the original Dixit a few times I would love to get one of the Dixit Expansions.
Ticket to Ride is one of my favorite games! I have played both the original ticket to ride (United States) and the Europe edition; I prefer playing the original ticket to ride. Do you like the Original our Europe edition better?
Cashflow is a game designed by Robert Kiyosaki about how to get out of the Rat Race. This game is similar to monopoly in the sense that you purchase property, but that is where the similarity ends. This game can also be played online, just create a free account to start playing.
We really like sequence because it’s fun to play with only 2 people. Sometimes this game goes really fast and other times it can last for a good 30 minutes.
Spot it is such a simple game, it’s fun for anyone to play. I recently found out there are a lot of different spot it games including Sports, Animals and even Halloween.
Dominion is a game we don’t play often because we like playing with more people. The game can be played with 2 but we often play with 4-6 players. I think the expansions make this game even more fun. (One of my favorite cards to play with are Council Room.)
