After seeing the Bodie Island Lighthouse we drove up to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. It’s a beautiful lighthouse surrounded by a lot of trees. It looked like there was a lot to explore around the lighthouse. It started pouring rain shortly after we got there so our visit was cut short. Next time I hope to see more and go up in the lighthouse.

The Currituck beach Lighthouse has different times it's open than the Bodie Island Lighthouse. There is a fee to climb the lighthouse. Since it was raining they told us we could climb it but they wouldn't let us outside at the top.

The Currituck Beach lighthouse is owned by the Outer Banks Conservationists, Inc. You can find more info about the lighthouse on the website currituckbeachlight.com.
