Fall in Utah is beautiful, though sometimes short-lived. The vibrant fall colors found throughout the state especially in the mountains are one of my favorite parts of fall in Utah. If this is your 1st fall or your 50th in Utah, here are some ideas to make this fall one of the best!
Fall Activities in Utah
Visit A Pumpkin Patch – There are a lot of different pumpkin patches scattered throughout the state. To find one in your area look at this list of Utah Pumpkin Patches.
Find your way through a Corn Maze – Just like pumpkin patches there are a lot of different options for Corn Mazes. One of the most popular Mazes is at Cornbelly’s.
Go for a Fall Drive – One of my favorite Fall Drives is around the Alpine Loop. The loop goes from Provo to Alpine, it’s a beautiful drive any time of year, but the fall colors make it extra special.
Get Frightened at Frightmares – Frightmares at Lagoon is an annual tradition for many families throughout Utah. If you love amusement parks, it’s something to checkout.
Go Hiking – Utah has some of the best hiking, from the red rocks in southern Utah to the many trails throughout northern Utah. Find a trail and have some fun out in nature before the snow starts to fly.
Enjoy All Things Pumpkin – One of my favorite fall treats is a pumpkin spice steamer from Kneaders. But let’s be honest all things pumpkin are great!
Fall Crafts – Do a fall craft something as simple as leaf rubbings can be fun for the whole family.
College Football – Attend or watch a college football game.
Dance to Thriller – Attend a performance of Thriller by Odyssey Dance Theater.
Bison Roundup – Watch or Ride in Antelope Island State Parks annual Bison Roundup. This event takes place each October, riding in the roundup requires advanced registration.
BooLights – See Halloween decorations at Utah’s Hogle Zoo.
Ride a Train – Take a ride on the Heber Valley Railroad Pumpkin Train.
