It’s hard to believe that 2017 is already here. Time just seems to fly by, and if we aren’t careful we will miss so many opportunities. Here are 17 things to do in 2017 to make it one of the best years yet!
17 things to do in 2017
Travel someplace new
In 2017 our family wants to add a few more states to our visited list. We are hoping to visit Oregon and Washington as well as several states in New England.
Read 1 new book a month.
This year I want to make more time for reading both Fiction and Non-Fiction (Checkout my list of 12 books to read in 2017 to take control of your life). I also want to spend more time reading with the little man.
Take 1 photo each day all year.
I’m sure you have seen this challenge on Pinterest many times. I decided 2017 is going to be the year I try to take a photo every day. Follow me on Instagram to see what photos I’m taking.
Get Out of Debt
Working on getting out of debt is something my husband and I started this past year. For 2017 we are going to hit it hard and hopefully be completely out of debt by the end of 2017.
Spend time with those that matter most
In 2016 we had family members struggle and some pass away. This has been a great reminder to spend time with those that matter most.
Exercise More, Eat Better and Drink More Water are the 3 things we are working on to be Healthier
Challenge yourself and get out of your comfort zone
Growing doesn’t happen when we are comfortable so this year we are going to try to do at least one thing that is out of our comfort zone.
Learn Something New
There are so many things I would love to know how to do, this year hopefully I can learn several different things.
Show more Gratitude
This year I want to work on being more grateful for what I have and not comparing our family to others.
Improve the life of others
Serving others makes me feel happy so this year I want to do simple things to help others.
Our little man is almost 2 and I can’t believe how fast the time has gone. It’s so easy to get sucked into time wasters. I’m really going to work on being more present and enjoying each moment with my little man!
By keeping things simple we can enjoy each moment more.
Stop a Bad Habit
Okay confession time. I bite my tongue when I’m concentrating. I don’t even realize I’m doing it but it drives Jared nuts. So, this year I’m going to stop biting my tongue, I hope!
Go to Bed Early, Get up Early
What are some things you are going to try to do this year?
