Each year I love getting our family pictures taken. My favorite season to take family pictures is the fall. A couple of weeks ago when we were in Utah visiting family we had our friend Robin take family pictures with Adree’s side of the family.
Robin did an awesome job working with the kids and our semi large group. She captured some great pictures, I can’t wait to get printed.
For our pictures we decided to have everyone wear jeans. The women had a ruby-red t-shirt. The men and boys wore an olive-green, blue or dark grey. I love how the colors stood out from the background, they have such a deep rich color.
The little man was not happy about getting his picture taken. The happiest pictures we have of him is when he is on the move. Even though we didn’t get a posed picture of him, I’m so glad we captured his personality at this stage. It will be so fun to look back at. (Any tips for getting pictures taken with a 2-year-old?)
For the first time since our wedding Jared and I got our picture taken together without kids. I knew I wanted pictures of just the two of us, but it was hard to let go of my baby shield. Right now, I still have a lot of baby weight and I don’t “love” how I look. Even though I’m not at my ideal body shape, I’m glad we did this picture, so we can remember the middle of the baby years.
After looking through all of our photos this bridge photo of the boys is one of my favorite. (If your counting, Yes I there are a LOT of boys in the family!)
Last of all we can’t forget all of the girls. I love this picture! Miss E totally stills the show with her big smile!
When is your favorite season to get family pictures taken?
