Epcot probably isn’t the first park you think of when planning a Disney world trip with kids. But that doesn’t mean it’s a park you should skip.

Epcot has a lot to offer, though the park doesn’t have as many rides as magic kingdom it is home to several family friendly rides including Frozen Ever After.
10 Reasons to Take Your Kids to Epcot
While the Magic Kingdom is probably our favorite Disney world park to visit with kids Epcot is also a lot of fun,
1. Family Friendly Rides
Most of the rides at Epcot are family friendly with no minimum height requirement. test track and Soren were the only rides our kids were too short to ride on.

2. Frozen Ever After
If you have a little frozen fan like we do the Frozen Ever After ride will be a highlight of your Disney trip! Try going on the ride at least a couple of times during your day at Epcot.
3. World Showcase
The world showcase is a lot of fun to explore and a great way for the whole family to learn a little bit about other countries.
4. The Food
In each of the countries in the world showcase, you can enjoy foods from that country. We enjoyed eating around the world and experiencing new foods. Check out how we ate around the world for $100.
5. Fewer Crowds
During our visits to Epcot the crowds were a lot smaller than the crowds we experienced in magic kingdom. While this is not always true especially during special events, sometimes you can experience fewer crowds at this park.

6. Character Experiences
At Epcot future world you are able to meet Mickey, Minnie and Goofy along with other characters including Elsa and Anna, Ralph and Vanillape and joy and sadness.
In the world showcase you can meet Mullan, Merry poppins and bell.
7. Closer Parking
At the Epcot park the parking lot is right outside of the park no boat or monorail is required to reach the park. This makes arriving at the park and leaving the park much quicker than magic kingdom.

8. Kidcot
Kid cot is a fun way for the kids to experience the world showcase. Each country has a Kidcot station where kids can get a card with information about that country and a sticker. Each country has small tables set up for kids to color the cards. If you collect all 11 Kidcot cards you can get a special postcard for completing the world showcase.
9. Photo Opportunities
Epcot has some fun photo opportunities. Take a photo in front of the Effie Tower in France or the ruins in Mexico.
10. Make Memories
Just like the other Disney parks Epcot is a great place to experience the magic of Disney and enjoy making memories together as a family.
Have you ever visited Epcot? What was your favorite part of the park?
