Everyone has heard of pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, but I bet you haven’t tried Caramel Apple Spice Cookies before.
These cookies are just as quick and easy to make as those pumpkin cookies and the perfect treat for fall when you need a break from all things pumpkin!

These cookies are the perfect recipe to try making with your kids. They are so simple and easy to make you and the kids can have a great time.
Caramel Apple Spice Cookies
These Caramel Apple Cookies are made up of a simple Apple Spice cookie topped with caramel frosting.
Ingredients:
- 1 – Spice Cake Mix
- 2 Cups Apple Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/8 Cup Milk
- 1 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
Making the Cookies
First, you’re going to make the cookies. Mix together a box of spice cake mix and apple sauce.

Then scoop the dough onto a greased cookie sheet. The cookies will expand slightly but stay pretty much the shape they are when you put them on the cookie sheet.

Bake the cookies at 350° for 10-12 minutes. Move the Cookies to a wire rack to cool.

While the cookies are cooling it’s time to mix up the Caramel Frosting.
Caramel Frosting
Mix together the butter, brown sugar and milk in a saucepan. Stirring occasionally so the sugar doesn’t burn.
Bring mixture to a boil. Then remove the pot from heat.

Add the powdered sugar whisking it well to get rid of any lumps.
While the caramel frosting is still warm frost your cookies. I prefer to drizzle the frosting over the cookies so that they have a caramel taste but aren’t overly sweet.

The frosting recipe makes the perfect amount to drizzle over your cookies. If you frost them you might need to make a little more frosting depending on how thickly you apply the caramel.
That’s it you now have some delicious caramel apple spice cookies to enjoy this fall!
