In Jared’s opinion bronzed or nickel stringed guitars sound and play better, than nylon strings. You will be able to find cheaper guitars but these brands are some of the best: Yamaha, Dean, Washburn, Fender, Martin, Ibanez and Gibson.

This stand isn’t the most expensive but it will work great for holding either an electric or acoustic guitar. This is the stand my husband has and it works great and it’s not to big or bulky.
A capo is used to change the key of the guitar. It allows the guitar to sound either higher or lower than it normally would.
This is a fun way for any guitarist to make sure they always have a guitar pick with them. It makes a perfect stocking stuffer especially when paired with a personalized guitar pick.
The oils from your hands can make your guitar grimy. These products allow you to clean the strings, fretboard and the body of the guitar.
You can never have too many guitar picks, they get lost and break. Some of our favorite picks are medium fender. Picks come in different thicknesses thin, medium and heavy gauges.

Great post, especially with the holidays around the corner. At least for electric guitar, I think the Ibanez starter packs featuring the “GIO” are pretty well made. The Dean Vendettas are also pretty good for the price with the amp being a bonus.
