Last week we went to Utah to visit family. While we were there we went to BYU (Brigham Young University) to do some bowling.
The bowling ally at BYU is located in the Wilkinson Student Center. Directly access from the building is a parking lot with free visitor parking.
We have taken our kids bowling a couple of different times and they love it so we were really excited to go bowling with family while in Utah.
The BYU bowling center has multiple lanes and is perfect for a fun family outing or even a date night.
The music playing in the background is upbeat and family-friendly.
There are ramps for little bowlers and lighter balls you can get at the desk.
The bowling area also has a few arcade games and restrooms. It’s a fun, easy and affordable way to make memories together.
BYU Bowling Hours
The bowling ally at BYU is open during the week when there are classes. Check the website for the most up to date hours.
If you’re not sure if they will be open before going to the BYU Bowling and Game Center call the bowling ally to make sure they are open.
Spring and Summer Hours (May-August)
- Monday – Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10:00 a.m. – midnight
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Fall and Winter Hours ( September – April)
- Monday – Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and Finals week have different hours so be sure to check the Bowling website.
Why Go Bowling at BYU?
You might be wondering why you would want to go bowling at a collage. It might seem kind of weird since there are other bowling alleys in Utah county.
We love going bowling at BYU because they have awesome deals (aka its cheap!) so bowling is really affordable. We also love that it’s clean and family-friendly.

Like I mentioned above bowling at BYU is not only fun it’s affordable.
Right now they have a deal that During the week from 2-5 you can bowl for $1 a game and shoe rentals are only $2.50.
They also have specials for family night on Monday and for different holidays.
