It’s the Thanksgiving season which is a great time to focus on gratitude. These free printable thankful leaves are a fun way to incorporate Thankfulness throughout the month of November or even the whole fall season.
During the holiday season it is easy to get busy and forget all the things we are blessed with. Luckily these thankful leaves can help make gratitude a priority.
Ways to Use Gratitude Leaves
There are a lot of different ways you can use these leaves. I’m just going to share a few ideas of ways you can use them.
(Really there isn’t a wrong way, just use them to help you, your family or your class of your blessings. )
Make a Gratitude Tree
One of my favorite ways to use these leaves is on our annual Thankful/ Gratitude Tree we do each November.
We have made a tree with brown paper and used a printable tree over the years. These printable leaves have made the tree’s so fun and easy.
Thankful Leaf Doors
Use these thankful leaves to write things you are grateful for about each family member and tape them to their bedroom door.
Leave cut out and ready leaves in a place the whole family can easily find them, and let everyone share their gratitude and love for each family member.
Gratitude Notes
Use the blank printable leaves as a fun and easy way to leave gratitude notes.
Put a thankful leaf note on the mailbox for the mailman, hand one to the cashier, give it to a teacher or anyone else you want to express gratitude to.
Printing the Thankful Leaves PDF
We use the printable leaves you can get at the bottom of this post printed in a variety of fall colors (reds, oranges and yellows).
Once the leaves are printed it might take a while to get them cut out, so turn on a movie and enjoy watching while you cut out leaves.
I like to have a bowl or basket full of cut-out paper leaves on the table with pens ready for everyone to write or draw on whenever they want.
