How to Cook a Turkey Printable for Preschool
This fun November creative writing activity is not only fun for elementary students. Preschoolers will also have a lot of fun with it.
Plus preschoolers give some of the funniest answers.
For young children not yet old enough to write answers to the questions. You can write their answer for them and then let them color.
Folding the How to Cook a Turkey Mini Book
After printing out your book fold it in half like a hamburger.
While the book is folded in half cut on the dotted line to the end of the page with the dots, don’t cut into the next little pages of the book.
Now unfold the page and fold it in half lengthwise. Unfold and pinch the middle pages together this will pull the other pages into each other.
Crease the lines between the pages and fold them into a closed book.

Funny How to Cook a Turkey Questionnaire
My 3 year old gave some awesome answers when he was working on his how to cook a turkey recipe book.
A couple of my favorites are that before cooking the turkey you need to burn it and the the turkey is done when we eat it.
Kids will take this November writing project seriously, but the answers they come up with can be seriously funny.
Some of the funny answers my kids gave when doing this activity included:
- Cooking times ranging from 3 minutes to 30
- Oven temperatures between 7 and 31 degrees
- Stuffing the turkey with fries or garbage (take your pick)
There were several other funny answers but you get the idea.
