As I was pulling together our lesson plans, I discovered the movie The Man Who Invented Christmas. I had never seen the movie before but felt like it would be a good addition to our study.
The Man Who Invented Christmas Movie
Last night we watched the movie as a family, and it was so good. We had started reading Who Was Charles Dickens during the day and so much of what we read was in the movie.

The movie was a little scary for my two youngest (3 and 5), so they watched a different Christmas movie in my bedroom. Both my 10- and 8-year-old enjoyed watching it and we had a good conversation once the movie was over.
My husband commented that every time he sees a movie like this one it makes him want to be more generous and I totally agree.
Movie Worksheet
Today for our Christmas school we talked about the movie and the kids filled out this worksheet with questions about the movie.

Most of the questions don’t have a “right answer” they are questions to get the kids thinking and share their thoughts.
The worksheet can be used as a discussion guide for any age. To be used as a worksheet it will work best for upper elementary students and middle schoolers.
