5 Free Halloween Word Search Printables (for Kids)

Sharing is caring!

My kids have recently started loving doing word searches so I thought it would be fun to create a printable Halloween word search puzzle. After I got started I ended up making 5 different puzzles for varying skill levels.

These free printable Halloween word search puzzles are such a fun and easy activity to do with your kids (or class) this fall for some Halloween fun.

Word search puzzles are not only a fun activity for kids to do but they are a great way to practice reading and spelling.

How to Use the Puzzles

There are multiple ways you can use these Halloween word searches. I personally like to have them printed out and ready as a fun activity for quiet time during October. For a class setting these would be a great activity for the days leading up to October 31st.

A couple of other ways to use these printable word searches are as one of your Halloween party games or add a couple of crayons with a puzzle or two and give it as a Halloween gift to kids (it’s a fun and easy non-candy treat for trick or treaters!)

No matter how you decide to use these free Halloween word search printable pages I hope you have a fun time of year and enjoy great Halloween activities.

The Halloween puzzles are at different difficulty levels with a different number of hidden words to find. Each of the 5 Halloween word puzzles has a box of scrambled letters as well as unique word lists.

For best results make sure to read the words on the list so they aren’t too difficult for the kids doing the puzzle.

Below I will be sharing more about each of the Halloween puzzles, including some of the words to find. You can get the free word search printables at the end of this post.
