6 Fun Family Activities in St. George, Utah
Each time our family visits St. George there are some things we just “must” do (swimming and a visit to the skate park are our top 2). Here are 6 activities our family has had fun doing in St. George.
6 Family Activities in St. George
1. Skate Park
Each time we travel to St. George we visit the skate park at least once, often multiple times. We bring wiggle bugs (Like these)
, skateboards, ripstix and sometimes scooters.
Many hours are spent in the pool. With diving sticks, the toothpick game, the color game, splashing contests and just hanging out a lot of memories are made at the pool. Our condo has a pool but if you’re looking for a fun place to swim we love the Washington County Community Center.
3. Visiting the Temple Grounds and Visitor Center
The St. George Utah LDS temple grounds are a great place to take photos, and the visitor center is always fun to visit with the family.
4. Sub Zero Ice Cream
The last trip we took to St. George we went to Sub Zero Ice Cream
. Now, this isn’t something we do every time we visit St. George but if you have never been it’s a fun experience. They even have dairy-free and sugar-free options. We loved the real fruit in our coconut and almond milk ice creams.
There are a lot of hiking spots in and around St. George. Pioneer Park is a fun place to hang out and do some easy hiking as a family. There are great views of the valley so don’t forget your camera.
6. Playing at the Park
The Cottonwood Cove Parks is one of our favorites. With all the spinning toys at the park, it is an easy place to get sick 🙂 We also love hiking around Pioneer Park.
