My husband and I are living in St. George for a few weeks and have been having a lot of fun in the warm weather. Since Northern Utah just keeps getting snow 🙂
This past weekend we had a ton of fun hiking around Pioneer Park. It’s a great place to stop on your next trip to St. George. You can spend hours hiking all over the park and the best part… it’s FREE!
Tips for Visiting Pioneer Park:
Parking is limited so if you’re planning on going at a busy time (Weekend or holiday) arrive early or be prepared to wait for a parking spot.
Water be sure to bring and drink plenty of water.
Camera the red rock and beautiful city views make for great photos. This would be an awesome location for bridles (just saying).
Kids Playground with all the rocks, dirt and trails to explore this park is the ultimate kids playground. Be prepared for red dirt on everything.
This park is so much fun. We hiked all over! It’s a fun place for everyone in the family (we had a pregnant woman and a 3-year-old with us). There is a pavilion and grills so we had a fun picnic lunch. The only thing that would make it better is if the restrooms were finished so there wasn’t just an outhouse.
