Pioneer Park Utah

I grew up going to St. George, Utah all the time and back in 2014 Jared and I lived in St. George for a couple of months. Since then we have been back to visit almost every year. It was while we lived there in 2014 we discovered Pioneer Park!

Exploring Pioneer Park - Hiking for Free in St. George Utah.

Pioneer Park Utah

Pioneer Park is such a fun place to go hiking. It’s a great place to stop on your next trip to St. George.

The park is a 52-acre rustic community park that rock climbers will love. The park has a large trellis pavilion with two barbecues and a fire ring. The area has several smaller picnic areas as well.

With numerous hiking trails, access to a Boy Scout Cave, pioneer cabin and slot canyons you can spend hours hiking all over the park! The best part… it’s FREE!

Tips for Visiting Pioneer Park

Limited Parking

Parking is limited so if you’re planning on going at a busy time (the weekend or on a holiday) arrive early or be prepared to wait for a parking spot.
