Reading is one of my favorite pastimes and it’s a love that I want to share with my kids. In my opinion, it is never to early to start reading to your little ones. Board books are my favorite type of books to introduce to babies and young children.

Today I want to share with you some of our favorite board books to enjoy with your baby. These books are perfect for starting a library for your little one and they also make really great baby shower gifts!
Why Board Books?
Why are board books so awesome for kids? If you don’t have kids this might be a question you are asking. Board books are awesome because they are more durable and easier for little hands to hold.
Best Board Books for Baby
These books are perfect for newborn through toddler age. We love having a variety of books in our home library but we often end up reading the same books over and over before enjoying a new title. Repetition is good for kids so don’t worry if you read the same book over and over!
Fold-Out Books
These fun visual books fold out to create a learning scene that stands up and is perfect for babies and young kids. This is a must-have for tummy time!
We love the Animals fold-out book. One side is colored and the other is black and white.
