I’ll be honest printable activities are some of my favorite ways to keep my kids entertained and have easy family activities ready to go in just a few minutes.

Using these worksheets as a fun number activity is a fun way to incorporate the holiday into your lesson plans and educational activities for kids.

For kids that aren’t yet able to read the color I always like to get the crayon or marker they will be using and color over the word with that color. This way they are still seeing the spelling of the color and also the color. For example, if the color key said 1=red I would color over the word red with a red crayon.

Supplies

To use these Halloween coloring pages you will only need a few basic kid’s art supplies.

First, you will need a way to print out the coloring pages. I personally like to print these pages on regular paper, but you can definitely print them on cardstock if you prefer.

The only other supply you will need is something for the kids to color with. My kids love using a box of crayons, but markers and colored pencils are also fun.

Halloween Color by Number Printables

When I was creating these free printables I might have gone a little crazy I was having so much fun creating different pages.

I ended up with 10 printable Halloween color by number worksheets for you to choose from. You can use all of the pages or just pick your favorites.

The coloring pages use a variety of different numbers but they are all under 20 which makes them good for kids of all ages, though they might be a little easy for older kids.

Sunset Ghost

The Sunset Ghost color by number printable has a ghost with the sunset behind it. The numbers 1 through 5 are the numbers kids will be looking for as they color this Halloween page.

The ghost is mostly white on this page, so there are some areas that the kids won’t really color.

Little Mummy

The Little Mummy has a fun background with a moon and bats. The mummy is mostly white with some gray stripes. To color, this page kids should be familiar with the numbers 1 through 6.

The witch’s pot coloring page was my daughter’s first choice. The numbers on this page are 1 through 6. The picture has lots of fun little details and is perfect for the Halloween season.

Mr. Spider

Mr. Spider is a spider wearing a top hat and was my son’s favorite Halloween color by number worksheet. You will also be using the numbers 1-6 to color this page.

Monster Man

Monster Man only uses five different colors and kids need to know the numbers 1 through 5. It’s an easier coloring page with larger coloring areas. It’s the perfect Halloween color by number for preschool and kindergarten age kids.

Witches Hat

The witches hat coloring page is definitely one that makes me think of Halloween. The coloring areas are numbered from 11 through 16.

Jack O’Lantern

Jack O’Lantern pumpkins are one of the first things I think of when I think of Halloween so of course, we needed a Jack O’Lantern color by number page. This page uses 5 colors and the numbers 11-15 tell you what color to use in each section.
