So, I made the “Hey Dad” Questionnaire, designed specifically for older kids to share more thoughtful answers with Dad.
Hey Dad Father’s Day Questionnaire
While toddlers focus on the basics (like in this All About My Daddy), tweens have a lot more to say. This printable moves away from simple facts and focuses on relationships and memories. It includes prompts fun for older kids and tweens like:
- What would Dad’s theme song be?
- What is a “dad-sim” (something he says so often you can hear his voice in your head)?
- What is one thing Dad has taught you that you’ll actually use when you’re an adult?
- If you could give Dad a “Day Off” pass to do anything he wanted, where would he go and what would he do?
- and more
It’s less of a quick response “fill-in-the-blank” and more of a mini-letter. Watching them take a few quiet minutes to really think about their answers is just as special as reading the finished page.
How to Use This Printable
Since these kids are older, they can handle the writing themselves! Give them pencils, pens or markers and let them have fun filling out this questionnaire for Dad.
You can do this activity at home or as an activity for kids to do in a school or Sunday school class.
