How to get FREE Cafe Rio

When we first moved away from Utah I really missed Cafe Rio, then I found out that Maryland has a few Cafe Rio locations. Even though it’s a drive we get to enjoy Cafe Rio occasionally.

So, what could be better than Cafe Rio Mexican food? That’s right, Free Food. Because I mean who doesn’t love free food?

How to Get Free Cafe Rio

So how can you get free food at Cafe Rio? It’s simple. Just download the My Rio Rewards App. If you don’t want to download the app you can create an account on their Website.

Then you need to create an account. Simply you just need your first and last name, email, birthday and a password. To earn extra points you can use my Invite Code: Adree16 .

My Rio Rewards App

I really like the app because it’s so easy to use. You can set your favorite location, which is nice because then you are alerted to special offers they may be having.

You can also order from the App and keep track of points as well as redeem your rewards.

You also get notifications of special offers, some special offers I have received notifications for in the past include a $5 credit, double or triple points and $2 credit.

The website has the same features as the app you just have to access it on a computer. To redeem points, you need to generate a redemption code that will last for 24 hours and take that code in with you.

How to get Rewards Points

You earn 1 point per dollar on every food purchase at Cafe Rio. You can also receive points by sharing the app with friends. (just click the invite friends button)

For every 100 points, you earn you will receive $10.00. Getting to 100 points can take a few trips to Cafe Rio, but the points add up fast, especially when you get double points!

$10.00 is enough to get almost anything on the menu for free. (The Grilled Steak Burritos, Salads, Double Taco, Double Enchilada, Quesadilla, and nacho meals are all slightly over $10.00)

Other Ways to Save

While nothing beats free there are a couple of other ways we like to save money at Cafe Rio.

Gift Cards

Watch for specials and get gift cards to save money when going out to eat. We have found that each year on Black Friday they usually have a deal if you purchase gift cards.

Taco Tuesday

Check to see if your Cafe Rio location does Taco Tuesday deals. We love going for tacos on Tuesday. Our local restaurant has awesome deals on tacos every Tuesday, with most tacos being under $2 each.
