Inside: how to make strawberry nachos a fun and easy valentines treat the whole family will love.
For the last few years around Valentine’s day we have made Strawberry Nachos.

Before we started doing strawberry nachos we would dip chocolate covered strawberries.
When I had my fourth baby the mess and work of dipping strawberries was to overwhelming so strawberry nachos were born.
What are Strawberry Nachos?
Simply put strawberry nachos are a plate of strawberries covered in chocolate and other treats. You could also call them deconstructed chocolate covered strawberries.

How to Make Strawberry Nachos
Strawberry nachos are probably one of the easiest “impressive looking” snacks you can make.
To start thinly slice strawberries for the “chip” layer of your nachos. You want to do a single layer of strawberries on each plate of nachos you make.

After your base layer of strawberries you are going to drizzle your melted chocolate.
We like to do both dark chocolate and white chocolate on our strawberries you could do one or the other if you prefer. You can use chocolate chips, candy bar, almond bark/candy wafers, etc. as your “chocolate”.

Strawberry Dessert Nacho Toppings
After the chocolate is drizzled you can add other toppings to your strawberries if you would like. My kids love just the chocolate or adding sprinkles.
Toppings you might like to add include:
- sprinkles
- mini chocolate chips
- chopped nuts
- crushed oreos
- graham cracker crumbs
- toasted coconut
After adding your toppings you’re ready to enjoy your dessert nachos!

If you add toppings or don’t it’s up to you! Maybe make a few different kinds of Strawberry nachos to try.
This strawberry dessert is delicious any time of year and make a fun after school snack. I hope you give it a try.
