I love quotes. I love how they quotes can inspire and cause emotion. Today I decided since it’s Wednesday to share some of my favorite quotes about motherhood. All of these quotes can be used in different contexts but they are quotes that remind me of motherhood.

Motherhood is the hardest job I have ever had but it’s also the most rewarding. At times it’s easy to feel like I don’t do enough and get discouraged when everything I do gets undone. But that’s mom life.

On Mother’s Day, the kids in at our church sang this song and I listen to it frequently when I feel discouraged and like I’m not doing enough. It’s a great reminder that as moms we are enough. (You might need tissues for this one!)
I know that even though it’s frustrating now I’m going to look back and remember these days with kids who need me for everything as some of the best days of my life.

Each day is filled with struggles to get simple things done. But the moments we struggle are the moments we grow the most. The struggles simply remind us what is important.

As I try to get simple things done around the house I try to remember that the sticky floors and crayon-colored walls aren’t that big of a deal.

No matter how many things are on my to-do list or how much I want to sleep. I’ll take all the hugs, kisses and snuggles I can get, even if it is past bedtime.

I know that in just a few years things will change and I will be looking back at my today’s as yesterdays. I don’t want regrets, I want happy moments as memories that last.

But no matter how life changes or how big my kids grow, the greatest job I will ever have is being a mother.
