The dollar store might not be the first place that comes to mind when you think about stocking stuffers.
Many things that you can buy at the dollar store are junk, but there are some hidden gems you can find when you take the time to look.
Several times I have found the exact toy, book or craft supply for more at another store.
Keep your eye out for good quality items, especially Disney branded items.

Dollar Store Stocking Stuffers
Stocking stuffers don’t have to be anything fancy. I try to make sure our stocking stuffers are things that will actually get used and won’t end up in the trash the week after Christmas.
If you take the time to look and start collecting things early you can find a lot of really great things at the Dollar store. You can find something that will work for pretty much everyone on your list. Here are just a few things that I think would make great stocking stuffers.

These are just a few ideas of stocking stuffers you can pick up at your local Dollar Tree that would be great for kids.
Small Puzzle
Check your local Dollar Tree to see what small puzzle boxes they have. Online you can get Toy Story 4 Puzzle Boxes that are 48 pieces and Frozen 2 puzzles that are both 100 and 48 pieces.
Wood Craft Project Kits
These wooden craft project kits come with what you need to make a helicopter, plane, sailboat or race car. They would make a fun project stocking stuffer and they only cost $1.
Jumbo Playing Cards
These fun Frozen 2 Jumbo Playing Cards measure 5″x 3.5″. They are printed with your favorite Frozen Characters including Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven.
Bubbles

These inexpensive magnetic drawing boards work great. The writing surface is a little more textured than name brand drawing boards but for $1 you can’t beat it. I just tied a string to the pen and the board to keep my kids from losing it.

Mini Marker Sets
So I will be the first to say that these markers aren’t the best quality but they work and my kids think they are the coolest thing ever. So while I prefer Crayola markers these markers get the job done and the kids love them.
Character Lip Balm
My little girl loves to take my lip balm so getting her these lip balms with her favorite character is not only practical it’s really fun.
Scratch Art
