Over the years I have created several different All About My Dad printables this year I decided to make a My Dad Rocks Printable page.

My Dad Rocks Printable

The my dad rocks printable is a perfect homemade gift for dads of your students (school or Sunday school). You could also do it at home with your kids to give dad as a Happy Father’s Day card.

The printable is perfect for dad’s who love music or any dad really. The page has a rockin’ father’s day theme with a guitar template and drums for kids to color.

Along with fun pictures for kids to color the page has fun facts about dad for kids to answer and give the page a personal touch.

Fun Facts About Dad

The special keepsake page the kids are making includes some fun questions about dad for kids to answer.

The questions about dad on the page include:

  • Dad’s name
  • Where Dad was born
  • How old dad is
  • What color his hair and eyes are
  • What Dad’s job is
  • What time he wakes up
  • What he likes to do
  • Dad’s favorite color
  • His favorite candy
  • What he drives
  • Why is Dad the best

Find more questions to ask kids about dad with this list of 50 questions about Dad.

My Dad Rocks

Below the questions the kids answer is space for kids to write their name and to date the page.

Each year my kids fill out one of the Father’s Day printables and I love keeping the dad pages so we can see how the kids answers change over the years.

Fun Rock Crafts for Dad

To go along with your My Dad Rocks Printable here are a few easy crafts made with rocks that would make a great father’s day gift.

Make your own Rock Picture Frames – Use popsicle sticks and small rocks (and tacky glue) to make a picture frame. Add a photo of each child to the frame and you have a unique handmade gift.

Dad Rocks Paperweight – Grab the washable paint (or spray paint for older kids) and let them decorate a rock for dad to use as a paper weight on his desk at work.

Rock Photo Holder – Use rocks to make a fun photo holder for dads desk. Make sure to include a photo or two with this awesome gift.

Guitar Picture Frames – Kids could add pictures to their own guitar picture frames to give dad as a Father’s Day Gift. I found this fun one on Amazon.

The digital download is one page, print additional pages as needed. I recommend printing it on cardstock, but regular printer paper works.
