Spring is finally here which means Easter is coming fast! If you’re a mom of boys you know how hard it can be to find fun and cute Easter basket ideas for boys.
I don’t know why but it always seems to be a little bit harder to find just the right Easter basket gifts and fillers for my boys.
Instead of going for the typical chocolate bunnies and stuffed animal easter basket filler, I like to be a little more creative and get things I know my boys will use for several months or longer. It’s always more fun when the Easter bunny brings gifts that will be loved and used a lot.
While my kids love the candy items I try to limit them so their basket isn’t filled with too much candy, they get enough sugar as it is!
As you read this list and find Easter basket ideas for your boy(s) keep in mind that not everything will be a good gift for every boy. So pick the things that your child will love and use. Then you don’t get more clutter around the house and your money is well spent.

Video games are a fun gift that most 7 year olds (really from 7 through teen boys) would be so excited to get as an Easter gift. Instead of using an Easter basket you could use a sand bucket and include different fun beach toys inside the bucket. This is especially perfect if you're going to go on a beach vacation for spring break.
Beach towels are a fun idea, plus think how much easier your summer will be if the kids each have their own different beach towel.
Goggles are a fun easter basket filler that will get used all summer long. A new pair of goggles each swim season is one of our favorite things to get each year.
side note: We have tried several different brands of goggles and our favorite are speedo for both adults and kids.
For a themedsee basket along with some goggles, pool toys could be a great easter basket idea. Especially if your family spends a lot of time at the pool during the warmer months of the year.
Spring is the perfect time to get the kid's new sandals to wear during the summer. I love getting my kids the sandals that still protect their toes so they can wear them hiking and exploring during the summer.

A frisbee is a fun yard toy to have for backyard fun during the summer. We had a glow-in-the-dark one for several years which was really fun.
A butterfly habitat science kit with live caterpillars is a fun gift. While I'm not getting this for Easter this year it's on my list of things to do with the kids this summer. It's the perfect addition to a summer science unit learning about butterflies.
A butterfly net is a perfect gift for younger boys who love insects and trying to catch bugs. These retractable butterfly nets are really nice for saving space and they work really well.

Pajamas are one of my favorite Easter basket ideas. As the seasons change it seems my kids always need new pajamas so getting them for their baskets saves me money instead of getting more basket fillers and pajamas, I get a two for one!
Zombie Plant seeds are a fun Easter basket idea. Kids will have fun planting the seeds and growing their own Zombie Plant that the leaves play dead when touched
Made libs make a great activity book choice to add to your kids' baskets.
Sidewalk Chalk is something I get every year for both my daughter and son's Easter basket. You can often find chalk at the dollar store or in the dollar bins at Walmart and Target.
