Do you ever feel like stocking stuffers end up being mostly junk and a few treats?

I know some years the things we have put into our kid’s stockings have ended up in the trash within just a couple weeks of Christmas. So this year I wanted to change it up and put things in our stockings that we would actually enjoy and use.

Stocking Stuffers You’ll Actually Want

Some of the items are disposable products that you will use up and others are things that should last you quite a while.

I’m going to break this list down into a couple of different categories to make it easy to find ideas for those you are shopping for.

Both of my kids love the Disney sing-along microphones that have songs from their favorite shows. These microphones are the perfect size to fit in a stocking.

Gift cards are always fun to get so you can buy whatever you want or go out to eat. Gift cards can be for things like movie tickets, restaurants, clothing stores, travel, and pretty much anything else. We love to watch Costco for deals on gift cards.

Jewelry

All kinds of jewelry work as stocking stuffers. You could easily do a ring, necklace, watch, etc as a stocking stuffer.

Jewelry would probably be a more expensive stocking stuffer, so remember to keep it in your holiday budget!

There are so many fun card games that you can start to play as your kids hit the teenage years. Here are a few of our favorites:
