15 Fun Easter Gifts Kids Will Love

Easter is right around the corner and if you’re like me you’re still trying to figure out what little Easter gifts for kids you want to get. It’s easy to default to candy and other items from the Easter section at the grocery store, but there are so many better options out there.

Instead of defaulting to sugary treats and little toys that will end up in the trash within weeks (or days) give your kids Easter gifts that they will actually use and enjoy. Then you both win and you’re not just throwing away money.

If you do Easter baskets or just give little gifts all of these kids’ Easter gift ideas are perfect for the spring and summer seasons.

Kids Easter basket ideas - fun and practical Easter gifts the kids will love

Easter Gifts for Kids

The Easter gift ideas I’m sharing in this post are perfect for various ages. Some of the ideas are gift ideas for a baby or a toddler. Other gift ideas are perfect for kids all the way through elementary school and beyond.

While some of these Easter gift ideas are gender specific many of them work for both boys and girls.

EggMazing Egg Decorator

I’m not sure if the EggMazing Egg Decorator is a better gift for parents or kids. I got two of these decorators last year right after Easter and I wish I would have gotten them sooner. We have all had so much fun using them to decorate eggs (I’m not sure who likes it most the kids or parents!)

Books

Books are one of my favorite things to gift my kids. Board books and picture books are always fun. But I also like to gift them chapter books that we can read aloud together.

A Few Fun Book Options:

5 Minute Stories – Perfect for kids that you read to each night
Indestructibles – One of my favorite books for Baby
Who Was and What Was Chapter Books – Fun way to learn about people, places, and events. We read them aloud together.

Elephant Tipi Tent

We got this Elephant Tipi Tent a couple of months ago and my kids have been loving it. It’s a favorite for hide-and-seek for the big kids and my 1 and 2-year-olds play in it daily.

It’s big enough that I have sat in it with both of the babies and the best part it is washable! Plus it has a cute carrying bag for storage and taking the tent on the go.

It’s a fun gift idea for Easter that the kids can have fun playing with all summer long. I think it would be perfect for baby through toddler ages since it’s a little more expensive and that way you get a few years of use.

kyte baby pajamas

Kayte Baby Pajamas

My kids are constantly outgrowing everything and with the weather warming up around Easter I feel like it’s a great time to get new pajamas for the kids. Kayte Baby pajamas are perfect for year-round they are light and comfortable for both warm and cool weather plus they are so soft.

Kyte Baby pajamas go up to size 7 and come in a variety of different colors. My kids have matching Sage-colored pajamas and I love the color for spring. Oh yeah, and the baby zipper rompers are double-zippered from top and bottom which is the best!

Playing with magnifying glasses on our walk

Magnifying Glass

I’m not exactly sure why but magnifying glasses are so fun for kids…and adults. We got our kids magnifying glasses last spring and they love them. We use them all the time during the summer for all kinds of things. If your kids don’t already have magnifying glasses these are the ones we love and they make a great Easter basket filler.

Earth baby lotion

Earth Baby Products

There are several different Earth Baby products that make great Easter gifts. The Bath Essentials Kit and the on-the-go kit are a great way to try several different products and get them all together. You can also purchase the products separately if you only want one or two Earth Baby Products.

Sweet Chaos Popcorn

Sweet Chaos Popcorn comes in several fun flavors and makes a great alternative (or addition) to the typical Easter candy found in Easter baskets. The cake batter flavor of Sweet Chaos Popcorn is one of my kid’s favorites.

The popcorn comes in different size bags perfect for sharing or enjoying yourself.

Games

There are so many fun games for kids that it can be hard to pick which ones to gift. We love discovering new games and playing them together.

Some of our favorite games to play with preschool to early elementary school-age kids are:

  • Zingo – It’s like a fast-paced bingo that’s a lot of fun to play with all ages
  • Monopoly Jr. – a simplified version of monopoly and yes it goes a lot faster. (We have the unicorn version and my kids love it!)
  • Uno – You can’t go wrong with a classic game like Uno, plus it’s inexpensive. There are several different versions with special rules that are a lot of fun.
  • Personalized Guess Who – make that classic guess who game you grew up playing extra fun by personalizing it with family photos or photos of favorite characters.

Wiley Wallaby Licorice

Wily Wallaby Licorice is thick, chunky, super-soft, and comes in so many fun flavors. The licorice is a great treat to include in kids (and adults) Easter Baskets.

Classic Red and Blueberry pomegranate are two of our favorite flavors of Wiley Wallaby Licorice.

We did a fun licorice tasting with several different Wiley Wallaby Licorice flavors for National Licorice Day on April 12 that the whole family enjoyed.

Nail Polish

Piggy Paint is my go-to nail polish for little girls. I love that it’s natural, doesn’t smell, and is water-based. It comes in a lot of fun colors and they even have some scented ones.

Beluga Baby Doll Carrier

If you have a baby in the family that mom and dad wear then this doll carrier is so fun. My daughter got this Beluga Baby Doll Carrier a few months ago and has really enjoyed using it to pack around dolls and stuffed animals.

Lego Sets

We are big fans of all things Lego at our house. For an Easter Gift for kids, I would stick with one of the smaller bagged or boxed sets. Even the little mystery mini-figure bags would be fun.

Stomp Rocket

Stomp Rocket

Stomp rockets are fun for boys and girls of all ages. We seriously have so much fun playing with the stomp rocket set we have. There are several different sets to choose from so you can pick the set you think your kids will enjoy most.

This is the stomp rocket we have, but we have played with several different stomp rockets. My grandparents have 3 different sets so that all the grandkids can play with them.

Hooded Towel

The Keababies hooded towel is so soft and big it’s a perfect gift for a baby or toddler. Plus the cute lamb hood just makes it so cute, your little one will love using this hooded bamboo towel at bath time.

Oball Rattle Toys

The Oball rattle toys are fun for little ones as soon as they can start grabbing on to things. Our favorite is the classic Oball rattle ball, but the classic ball is also fun and doesn’t make noise.

Kiwi Crate

We have a subscription to Kiwi Crates and the kids love it. We get a box each month with a couple of activities/crafts for them to make. There are several different subscription options and just think it’s a gift that keeps on giving each month. You can also buy some of the kits individually and several of them are under $20.

Get 50% off your first month with any of the Kiwi Co subscriptions.

There are tons of other things that make great Easter gifts for kids, but I hope this post has given you a few fun ideas.
