How to Save Money on Legoland Florida Tickets

Saving money on Legoland tickets isn’t hard, using these tips you should be able to save money on a Legoland Florida vacation anytime you go.

The past couple of years we have been able to visit Legoland Florida Resort numerous times. We visited regularly in 2019 when we were living in Florida and have season passes again this year. We know our way around the park without a map, we have favorite times to visit, the kids each have a favorite ride and we even celebrated New Year’s Eve in the park.

How to Save Money on Legoland Florida Tickets

Lucky for you we have also found a few ways to save money on tickets to Legoland Florida. There are several different ways to save money on tickets and make sure you get the right discount for your vacation.

How Much are Legoland Florida Tickets?

First off lets talk about how much Legoland Florida tickets cost. You can purchase your tickets for the day at the Front Gate to Legoland. If you purchase your tickets day of these are the ticket prices you will pay as of January 2020.

Front Gate Ticket Prices

$99.99 for Legoland Florida Park

$124.99 for Legoland Florida Park and Water Park

That’s $100 per person for one day at the Legoland Florida park, I know theme park tickets are expensive but $100 seems like so much for a day of entertainment. Plus that doesn’t include the cost of parking, food/snacks or souvenirs. Luckily there are several different ways to save money on tickets to the Legoland theme park.

Ways to Save on Legoland Florida Tickets

There are several different discounts you can easily use to save money on your LEGOLAND tickets. I’ll explain each of the discounts bellow.

Purchase Online

The quickest and easiest way to save on your Legoland tickets is to purchase them online. Purchase your Legoland tickets directly from Legoland online and save $15.00 per ticket.

You may also want to see if they have any multi-day deals as these can be cheaper than a single-day ticket.

Pro Tip: Join their email list and watch for sales and ticket deals.

If you’re planning a future trip watch for sales. Legoland frequently does specials, joining their email list is a great way to keep up on what deals they have going on. We got our annual passes during one of their sales for $100, since then I have seen this same discount a couple of times a year.

Legoland Florida annual passes are a great way to save money on Legoland tickets.

Military Discount

You can save 10% on 1 and 2-day tickets when you purchase tickets at the window with your valid military ID.

AAA Discount

Present your AAA or CAA card at the Legoland Florida Resort ticket window for 10% discount. Deeper discounts can often be found on the AAA/CAA websites.

Costco Discount Tickets

I have seen discount Legoland tickets at Costco a couple of times, but they don’t always have them. Keep an eye out for this deal in your local store and at costco.com.

Costco stores closer to the Legoland Park locations seem to be more likely to have these deals.

Go Orlando Card

Get a Go Orlando Pass to save on admission to Legoland Florida as well as other Orlando area attractions.

You can build your own card or pick one of the passes with set destinations.

Kids Free Admission Coupons

There are multiple places I have seen kids free admission coupons. I have seen them at Wendy’s restaurants, in the Lego magazine and as a promo when you buy honest kids juice.

If you do a quick google search for Legoland free Kids Admission you should be able to find if there is a current promotion with a specific restaurant or company.

Kids ages 5 to 9 can get a free subscription to LEGO Life Magazine. The magazine is delivered 4 times a year. Sign up for the magazine here.

Florida Residents get a discount on both annual passes and day tickets to Legoland Florida.

Annual Passes

Annual Passes are how we have saved a lot of money visiting Legoland. If you plan to visit Legoland multiple times an annual pass is a great way to save.

Especially if you get an annual pass during a sale you can save a lot of money. We have been able to get our annual passes for just a little bit more than one day’s admission would be.

Signing up for the Legoland Florida Resort email newsletter is a great way to know about sales and deals on tickets.

Vacation Packages

If you’re planning on staying at the Legoland hotel or the Pirate Island hotel then booking a vacation package is a great way to get a deal on tickets and your stay.

Who can Get Free Tickets to Legoland Florida?

Children under the age of 3 always get free admission to Legoland Florida resort. But those 3 years old and older need tickets. There are only a few ways that you might be able to get free tickets to Legoland if you’re older.

Military

Active Military personnel can get FREE single-day admission to Legoland Florida. Present your valid military ID at the ticket window on the day you plan to visit to get your free admission ticket. (Military members can get discounted tickets for family, see above)

Free Florida Teacher Pass

Any K-12 teacher in Florida can get a FREE annual Pass by brining their most recent pay stub, Florida ID and valid professional or temporary FDOE teaching certificate to the ticketing window at Legoland Florida.

Preschoolers Pass

The Legoland Florida Preschooler Card (aka pass) is a free pass for kids ages 3 and 4 who live in Florida.

To get the free Legoland Florida Preschooler pass you need to bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate or travel passport to the ticket window at the theme park to get the card AND you can only do this for a limited time.

Usually, the pass is available to get during January each year. So keep your eye out for the deal at the beginning of the year.

The Legoland Preschooler pass is good for admission to both the theme park and the water park for the whole year.
