How Does Receipt Hog Work

Be Consistent

Be consistent in taking pictures of your receipts. Take pictures of your receipts regularly the same day you go shopping. Receipts must be submitted within 14 days of making the purchase.

Include all the Information

Make sure the image of your receipt includes the store name, items purchased and there price, total purchase amount, and the date of purchase.

Also make sure to take the pictures of your receipts in good lighting and make sure they are in focus.

Upload All Qualifying Receipts

You can receive coins for photos of your receipts from any store that sells groceries, health items, beauty products and more.

Upload Weekly

I’m not the best at this but if you upload a receipt each week you can get a bonus. There are new bonuses every month and weekly bonuses increase as your level increases.

Receipt Hog Rewards and Payouts

Receipt Hog coins can be redeemed for a few different rewards. You can get money deposited in your Paypal account, a Visa Prepaid Card delivered by email or an Amazon gift card code sent to your email.

After choosing how you want to receive your payout it takes a couple of days and you will have either a gift card or money in your connected Paypal account.

Is the App Worth It?

Yes, this is one of my favorite cashback apps. If you use this app consistently you can get some cashback every few months. Or you can wait to cash out before the holidays if you prefer.
