Thanksgiving is coming fast and if you’re like me you want to make the most of all of the holidays with your kids. Filling the days leading up to Thanksgiving with fun activities, crafts, and traditions!
Today the kids and I made a countdown to Thanksgiving and on each day we included a Thanksgiving Craft or Activity we want to do leading up to the holiday.
Thanksgiving Countdown
To make your thanksgiving countdown all you need is some construction paper and tape. You can make a cute countdown hanger using felt stickers and string.

We found these adorable felt stickers and they were perfect for our countdown. We put a loop of twine at the top and the bottom and then stuck two stickers together with the twine in the middle.
Now we can easily hang up our countdown and we can use the loop on the bottom to start our countdown chain.

We used orange and yellow construction paper to make our countdown chain. I dated each strip of paper and then we decided what activities we would be doing each day and added them to the strip.
Then using some scotch tape we made our chain. It’s now hanging under the mantel in our living room so we remember to take off a link each day.

Now that I’ve told you all about our fun Thanksgiving Countdown let’s get on to some fun Thanksgiving Craft Ideas. These would be perfect to add to your countdown or to just make for a fun holiday activity.
