St. Patrick’s Day Wreath
This paper plate St. Patrick’s day wreath is the perfect craft to make for the holiday and all you need is some basic craft supplies.
Supplies
- Cheap Paper Plate
- 2 Colors of Green Paper
- Clover Template (free printable at bottom of post)
- Glue
- String/ Ribbon
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
Putting Together the St. Patrick’s Day Wreath
Print the Clover Template on colored paper. There are 3 different sizes of 4 leaf clovers on each page.
To make one wreath you need almost 2 full pages of clovers. I printed the clovers on two different shades of green and I love how it turned out.
After printing out 2 pages of clovers, per wreath, cut out the clovers.
Cutting out the clovers is a little challenging so if you are doing this with young kids be sure to have the clovers already cut out.
Now that the clovers are ready cut out the center of the paper plate leaving the outside edges still attached. This is going to work as the backing for your wreath.
Now you can start gluing on clovers to the paper plate wreath shape. Start with the bigger sizes and then use the smaller clovers as accents on top of the larger 4 leaf clovers.
For the most part we alternated light and dark clovers. But you can design your wreath anyway you want.
Continue decorating your wreath until you feel your wreath is done.
Lastly attach a string or ribbon to your wreath to hang it. You can tape the string to the back if you want or punch a hole in the top of the wreath and hang it from there.
