June has been a big month for us. Our time in Utah came to an end and it was time to head back to Maryland as things started to open up more out east.

While we never expected what has happened this year, we feel blessed for the opportunities we have had and the unexpected family time we were blessed with. While there have been struggles through the challenges there have also been many blessings.
Here is a closer look at what the our June looked like, using numbers of course.
June in Numbers
5 Days in Oregon
We started out the month of June with 5 days in Oregon. The first day we spent as a family in Seaside playing at the beach and driving down the Oregon coast.

The rest of the time we were with Jared’s family in Rockaway Beach. We stayed at a VRBO on the beach and had a great time with cousins.
We spent a lot of time playing in the sand and also spent some time driving along the coast and exploring.
1 Birthday
After getting back to Utah from our Oregon Trip we celebrated Jared’s Birthday.

Restaurants were open in Utah with social distancing so we had a fun family lunch and then cheesecake at my parents.
3,431 Miles Driven
The day after Jared’s birthday we headed home to Maryland. Things were starting to open on the East coast so it was time to head home and get back to work.

In June we drove from Utah to Oregon back to Utah and then all the way to Maryland. Totaling 3,431 miles driven in June. Now that’s a lot of miles.
13 States Visited
In all of our driving we visited 13 states several of them for the first time. In several of the states we tried to stop and do something.

In Wisconsin, we stopped at a cheese factory for some Wisconsin Cheese. In South Dakota, we stopped at a few roadside attractions and in Wyoming we visited Little America, to share just a few fun places we visited.
2 National Parks Visited
In South Dakota, we were able to stop and visit Mount Rushmore National Monument and Badlands National Park.

Both were a lot of fun and we would love to go back when we have more time to spend exploring.
1 More Move
Yes, you read that right we moved again (yes we moved in March too). In April we sold our house so we moved into a small apartment temporarily and then ended up going to Utah.

Once back in Maryland it was time to find a place to move closer to Jared’s work before baby comes this fall.
Thankfully we were able to find a place for the next year or so and had some awesome friends that helped us move.
4 Dozen Donuts
If you follow us over on Instagram than you have probably seen our weekly pregnancy updates.
In June we did a week were we had everyone guess how many donuts it would take to weigh as much as the baby.

To get the picture with the question and the answer we got 4 dozen donuts (2 dozen fun ones for the first photo and then 2 dozen glazed for the second) and we ate them all. If I don’t pass the glucose test in next week that’s probably why!
1,751 Photos Taken
Have you noticed a trend in these month in number posts? I take a lot of photos each month. There is no doubt that I take tons of photos.

Taking pictures of our daily lives is my favorite way to journal. Since surprisingly I’m not very great at writing in a journal regularly.
12 Blog Posts Written
At the beginning of the year, I set the goal to write 200 blog posts this year. While I’m getting closer to hitting that goal I’m still behind.
I was excited to be able to get 12 new posts written even with all the crazy going on. If you missed any of the posts don’t worry you can still check them out and save the ideas you like to Pinterest so you can easily find them.
