Fall Bucket List

There is no right or wrong way to make a bucket list you can grab a piece of paper and write down your ideas, make a big list on a roll of paper or print out a bucket list.

I made a free printable Fall Bucket list pdf for you at the bottom of the post. The bucket list template is editable so you can add your own activities to the list!

Some times we love using the printable list and other times we have had a lot of fun making our fall bucket list on a huge piece of craft paper and hanging it in our living room.

Below are some of the things on our fall bucket list, some of them are on the printable (but you can take them off if you want).

Fall Bucket List Ideas

These are some of the things on our Fall Bucket list. We don’t do all of these every year, but they frequently make the list.

Be sure to add the activities you want to do this fall, not just the ones we put there.

Don’t feel like you have to do everything, these are just ideas. Pick the ones that sound fun and would work for you and your family!

Go to a Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin patches are always so much fun, especially with kids. I love seeing how excited they get about picking just the right pumpkin.

Carve Pumpkins

Now that you have your pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, of course, you need to carve it or paint it or something!

We carved our pumpkins into a pregnancy announcement several years ago.

Family Photos

Fall is one of my favorite times of year to take family photos. I love all the fall colors and I love that it’s not as hot as the summer months. Plus it’s a great time to get photos for Christmas cards.

Play in the Leaves

Rake those leaves into piles and have fun jumping and running through them. Don’t forget to crunch as many as you can.

Last year we made a huge pile of leaves in our backyard and ziplined through them, the kids thought it was so fun.

Go for a Fall Hike

Going for a fall hike is a great way to be able to see fall colors up close and enjoy nature. My recommendation is to pick a fun trail with lots of trees!

Drink Hot Cocoa

With cooler evenings fall is an awesome time to start enjoying hot drinks like Hot Cocoa and Apple Cider.

Bake Pies

It wouldn’t be fall without at least one apple or pumpkin pie. If you don’t want to bake the pies you can purchase them and enjoy them that way.

Dinner in a pumpkin is a fun and different way to enjoy dinner. The kids will either love or hate eating dinner from a pumpkin but it will be memorable no matter what!

This is our favorite dinner in a pumpkin recipe that we make every year.

Fall is a great time to go on a little trip. Some years we have camped others we have found an awesome airbnb for a little fall get away.
